AEW matches can sometimes get out of hand, and that even applies to Impact Wrestling matches borrowing their ring at Daily’s Place. Impact Wrestling’s Against All Odds ended with an exciting main event match, but referee Brian Hebner still had to fudge the numbers a bit.

Jimmy Korderas released another Reffin Rant this morning. He focused on the Kenny Omega vs Moose match for the Impact Wrestling World Title. He said that Hebner had to come up with some creative counting so he didn’t count both competitors out while they battled outside the ring. In the end, it’s the wrestlers who do the referees such a disservice with decisions like that.

Once they went outside the ring, Hebner had to fudge the numbers, because they stayed out there for like three minutes. So, I’ve discovered that it doesn’t matter who wears the stripes in Daily’s Place. It’s the talent, it’s the office, it’s the boys that are making them look silly, because the rules should matter.

It was also noted that the Young Bucks coming out to interrupt the match took far too long as well. He even noted that it would have been an AEW referee make the final count instead of Brian Hebner. That could have added an even more interesting note to this situation.
