Nick Comoroto is a rising star in AEW, and he could use a win along the line to get him over. That did not happen as he faced Dustin Rhodes in a bull rope match. Nick Comoroto lost, and was bloodied in the process. That didn’t really help him out in a lot of fans’ opinions.

Dustin Rhodes fired back at a few negative fans who were critical of that match. One fan said that Nick could have used the win, but Rhodes replied with: “He did win. He was in a match with me. Everybody that works me becomes better.”

Rhodes really let a few fans have it as he suggested that they pay attention to the product. He also used #BasementDweller toward fans who thought that Nick Comoroto could have used the win.

He is a better wrestler after being in the ring. That is why your opinion specifically doesn’t matter. Your mom wants you back in the basement. #BasementDweller

We’ll have to see if Nick Comoroto will get his big win on AEW Dynamite down the line. He certainly gave it his all in that bull rope match. Dustin Rhodes had apparently heard enough so he unleashed on a few fans who irked him with their critiques.

In the end, it’s all up to Tony Khan and not Dustin Rhodes. The Natural won his match because Khan booked him to win. Those fans might need to direct their issues with booking a different direction.

What’s your take on the bull rope match? Should Nick Comoroto have beaten Dustin Rhodes? Sound off in the comments.
