AOP were released from WWE in September 2020. The team hasn’t wrestled since, but there has been interest. A new report said that they have retired and are not taking bookings. That is apparently not the case.

1/2 of the Authors of Pain, Gzim Selmani, who was Rezar, tweeted out a very short message to address this report about him retiring. While posing alongside Akam and Paul Ellering, they all have middle fingers raised.

Ain’t done yet bitches.

We’ll have to see what’s next for AOP, but they’re apparently not done yet. This is an interesting situation, because they reportedly told an indie booker that they were no longer taking dates. There seems to be some confusion about that.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
