Plans can always change, and that is happening more and more in WWE, especially with all of the releases. Santana Garrett was part of the releases that WWE sent down recently. Her name was not a big shock to some backstage, because they had nothing for her at all creatively.

According to Fightful Select, there were plans at one point to create an incoming female stable with Chelsea Green, Santana Garrett, and Vanessa Borne, but that didn’t happen. Instead, all three sat in catering, or weren’t called into the tapings at all. Now all three have been released.

It was said that “Santana Garrett’s release did not come as a surprise to many within the company, as she’d been called up nearly a year before and almost never used.” None of the creative pitches for her panned out and she was kept off television.

It was also reported that Garrett wasn’t backstage since she and Chelsea Green showed up at SmackDown and snapped selfies. Those ended up on social media and made fans buzz about a possible debut for either of them.

The company released Santana Garrett after calling her up, but she never debuted. The same is true for Chelsea Green and Vanessa Borne.
