Eric Bischoff is a veteran in the pro wrestling business and is undoubtedly one of the greatest minds to have ever worked in it. He is well aware of the changing landscape of pro wrestling as well.

Easy E has worked in promotions such as WCW, WWE and Impact Wrestling. He also returned to WWE in 2019 as Executive Director of Friday Night Smackdown. However, he was fired from that role just a little over four months since he started working in the company.

Since then Bischoff made a few appearances on AEW Dynamite and he usually keeps himself busy with his other ventures and also his podcast. Many fans have wondered what WWE thinks of Bischoff appearing in AEW.

While speaking on his After 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff was asked if he would get in trouble with WWE for appearing on AEW. Bischoff revealed that WWE is definitely fine with him making appearances in AEW as he took precautions.

“Absolutely not. I’m going to give you a guys a little secret. A long time ago I learned that with Vince it is better to have a conversation on the front end of things like this, well in advance, just out of respect. Not out of necessity. I’m not under contract. I do things with them, we all know that, occasionally. Throughout the year, I’ll do different things with them.

Bischoff also added that he entered into a merchandise agreement with WWE but it is to be noted that Bischoff has no intention of ever working in the company again.
