AEW Double or Nothing included many memorable spots, including Miro chucking Jake “The Snake” Roberts’ bag down the ramp. If any fan was upset by that spot, then Tony Khan made it right during the media scrum after the show.

Khan made it clear that AEW would never hurt a snake. He also said that PETA shouldn’t be mad at them over the spot either, because “did you see a snake?” Khan then moved on and took more questions.

Ringside News covered this Double or Nothing factoid and Jim Cornette saw the story. He had to reply and bury Tony Khan for not even trying to kayfabe a real snake. Then he proceeded to call the company out for “exposing their own sh*tty business.”

They can’t even TRY to kayfabe you about a SNAKE?? Sure, it looked phony as fuck, but ADMITTING it? First, fuck everyone in @AEW for exposing their own shitty business, secondly I love animals more than anyone on Earth and FUCK snakes.

Jim Cornette has not been shy to critique AEW since the company opened its doors. Most recently he declared that it is too late for Miro to fix his character because of how badly AEW screwed up his debut. We will have to see how Miro evolves from here, but many fans see Cornette’s point.

It looks like Jim Cornette won’t be getting any invite to AEW’s 4th of July BBQ again this year. He probably has other plans anyway.

What’s your take on AEW exposing the business? Are they doing too much? Sound off in the comments!
