Drew McIntyre ‘Looked Rough’ After Match Against Kofi Kingston On WWE RAW

Drew McIntyre defeated Kofi Kingston in the main event of WWE RAW this week. That cemented him a spot against Bobby Lashley at Hell in a Cell. It was a hard-fought contest that left everyone involved battered, especially McIntyre.

According to PW Insider, McIntyre looked a bit rough after the match was over. His right eye had a big bruise over it after eating a kick from Kingston. That stiff superkick looked good on television, because Kofi made real contact.

It was said that the match was received well backstage. Many backstage were talking up McIntyre vs Kingston and the war they put themselves through. Obviously, that hard work didn’t go unnoticed.

We will have to see how the viewership turned out for that Memorial Day episode of WWE RAW. The main event was a very exciting way to cap off this week as they confirmed Lashley’s opponent on June 20th.
