Matt Hardy Says Christian Cage Will Pay For Betraying Him At AEW Double Or Nothing

AEW’s Double Or Nothing pay-per-view was a night of memorable moments and excellent matches. It also featured the traditional Casino Battle Royal match, where the winner would receive a shot at the AEW World Championship.

Matt Hardy was a participant in the Battle Royale where he was among the final three in the match, including Christian Cage and Jungle Boy. At that time Matt Hardy believed Christian Cage would help him eliminate Jungle Boy as they have known each other for several years.

However, instead of helping him, Christian Cage threw Hardy over the top rope before Cage himself got eliminated by Jungle Boy. Jungle Boy thus won the match and became the #1 contender for the AEW World Championship.

After the end of the pay-per-view, Matt Hardy took to Twitter and blasted Christian Cage for not helping him. Matt Hardy said that Christian Cage will pay for betraying him before saying both Cage and his partner Edge were always pieces of s****.

Now it seems Matt Hardy could be feuding with Christian Cage after what transpired at AEW Double Or Nothing. We will have to see how the feud between the two will be booked.
