Michael Cole has been a WWE announcer for long enough that many equate his voice with the company’s programming. His veteran ability is sometimes taken for granted, but that has apparently change within WWE.

According to Fightful Select, there is no heat on Michael Cole over the botched call that ended WrestleMania’s first night. He called a kick out as Bianca Belair was winning the SmackDown Women’s Title.

It was said that there is no backstage heat on Michael Cole. That situation was looked at as: “sh*t happens, that sucks.” It is now water under the bridge.

Over the past month, some of the commentary woes were said to have made some talent we spoke to realize how good Cole can be.

Michael Cole also reportedly spoke about this gaffe backstage a couple of times and admitted to the mistake. That went a long way to earn him even more respect. The situation isn’t looked at as a big deal anymore as they have moved on.
