AEW is on TNT and so are the NBA Playoffs. Those big games cause an issue for AEW’s Wednesday night timeslot. The company will air an episode at 10:00 PM tonight on TNT. That could be a trend in the weeks to come as the company has already confirmed that next week’s episode will also be preempted off Wednesday.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the NBA Playoff schedule isn’t etched in stone. Nobody knows how many games each series will last. Those Wednesday games will cause an issue for AEW. This will also call for a Saturday Dynamite.

It appears they are doing three weeks of taping on 6/4 and 6/5, since the next live taping is 6/26, a Saturday night, meaning it looks like the show will air that date from 8-10 p.m.

If they air Dynamite on June 26th, then AEW will also conflict with the UFC event headlined by Cyril Gane vs Alexander Volkov. The company has another live taping on June 30th before returning to the road on July 7th in Miami.

As we previously reported, tickets have sold so well for that July 7th event that the company opened up more tickets for fans.
