Miro is set to defend the TNT Title at Double or Nothing against Lance Archer. He is very confident about his chances and a he was also able to show a new side of his character last week on Dynamite.

The Best Man’s big prom on AEW Dynamite caused his name to trend last week during the show. He didn’t win everyone over as Jim Cornette was quick to say that it’s already too late for Miro’s character in AEW.

The AEW TNT Champion posted a video on social media where he had a chance to reflect. He said this is the “calm before the storm” as he prepares for war at Double or Nothing on Saturday.

Miro said “I like you Lance, somewhere else we could have been friends, but not here, not now.” He said that Archer started this, and Miro will forgive him since he’s an honorable man, but he will hurt Archer first.

While painting an analogy about monsters, Miro said that the real monster isn’t in the mirror for Lance Archer. Miro said that the real monster is looking for him.

This was an effective online promo and could get fans talking as Miro continues displaying his ability to hype a match with his words. It works for us.

Is Miro retaining the TNT Title at Double or Nothing?
