Kenny Omega is currently the AAA Mega Champion, Impact Wrestling Champion and also the AEW World Champion. He has been booked as one of the best champions in recent memory and his high work rate speaks for itself.

Kenny Omega made a name for himself with his incredible matches against the likes of Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito in NJPW and also had excellent matches in AEW against the likes of The Young Bucks and Rey Fenix as well

The ongoing debate regarding the best pro wrestler in the world started once again after Jim Ross chose Randy Orton over Kenny Omega. This led to Chris Jericho saying Kenny Omega is the best pro wrestler in the world. Now it seems AEW star Matt Hardy has shared his thoughts regarding the ongoing debate of who is the best pro wrestler right now. A fan took to Twitter and stated that he isn’t happy that Omega and Roman Reigns are being compared.

Matt Hardy saw the fan’s tweet and decided to reply to it, as Hardy stated that he is a fan of  Omega, Reigns, and Randy Orton. He then added that Kenny Omega gets a lot of flak for being over the top.

“Solid & fair take. As people & performers, I like Kenny, Randy & Roman. They’re all very different, but awesome at what they do. Kenny catches flak cuz of his past & over the topness, but there’s no denying he’s currently killing it, esp considering the AEW style. He’s special.”

Kenny Omega will always be hailed as one of the most gifted in-ring performers to have graced and that is unlikely to change anytime soon. Omega is set to defend his AEW World Title against PAC and Orange Cassidy at AEW Double Or Nothing on May 30. We will have to see if he will be able to retain his title or not.
