Impact Wrestling recorded a very long run of television tapings last week. They will be missing Eddie Edwards for the next two months of programming, at least.

Edwards needed an operation to remove his appendix. That appendicitis took him out of commission, but his wife Alishia Edwards was happy to report that her husband is safe at home.

Alishia also thanked everyone for the support. It’s been a crazy couple of weeks, but Eddie Edwards is now officially on the mend.

Someone is finally home safe and sound but oh yeah without his appendix. It’s been a crazy and extremely long couple of weeks but we’re truly humbled with all the love, texts and support from family and friends. A special thank you to @IMPACTWRESTLING for all the help

We’ll have to see what’s next for Eddie Edwards. He picked up the pinfall over Karl Anderson at Under Siege in the big 6-man tag team match. Most thought that was a sign that a push could be coming his way. Sadly, he fell under the weather instead. Thankfully, he is on his way back to the ring already.

Is Eddie Edwards going to win back the Impact World Title in 2021? Sound off in the comments!
