New Japan is getting a lot of attention for the wrong reasons. The company has been forced to cancel shows due to COVID-19 outbreaks on their roster, something that anyone wants to avoid.

There was an outbreak of seven NJPW stars who tested positive for COVID-19, and then more were revealed later. This caused them to change plans and shut down their operation. Now Kazuchika Okada has revealed that he tested positive for COVID.

According to Tokyo Sports, Okada was one of the nine NJPW stars who tested positive for COVID-19. Those wrestlers tested positive on May 4th. Many stars were pulled from the NJPW Wrestling Dontaku event including Okada, Minoru Sazuki, Yoshinobu Kanemuaru, El Esperado, and SHO & YO.

Okada tested negative several times. Then he got a fever, and he tested positive. He tried to train at home, but got tired easily. Then he lost his sense of taste. That is as bad as it got for Okada, because he has returned.
