The main event of WrestleMania Backlash saw Cesaro challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. Despite Cesaro’s best efforts, he was unable to defeat Roman Reigns in the match.

The closing moments of the match saw Reigns applying the Guillotine submission on Cesaro and Cesaro would pass out soon enough. After the end of the match, Jey Uso started attacking Cesaro and shortly after that, Seth Rollins’ music hit to a loud pop.

Rollins made his way down to the ring and had a staredown with Reigns and then brutally attacked Cesaro with a chair. Rollins finished off the attack with a Curb Stomp on Cesaro. Rollins stood tall as the show went off the air. Now Rollins decided to react to him decimating Cesaro.

Rollins took to Twitter and uploaded a video, where he sent a message to the WWE Universe where he talked about WrestleMania Backlash and then told fans they will see him Friday Night Smackdown. He also replied to a video of him decimating Cesaro with a chair as Rollins simply said, ”THE RIGHT THING!”

“Hahaha, what an incredible event. WWE WrestleMania Backlash you guys! Incredible, top to bottom, just off the charts. Amazing performances all around. What an ending to the show. I want to thank you guys for all your support, all your love. I’m okay, I had a lot of people tweet me asking me if I was alright. I am fine. Things are looking up guys, thank you all for your support. I love you so much, I will see you on Friday. Friday Night SmackDown, gonna be a big night at the ThunderDome.”

Judging by Seth Rollins’ actions at WrestleMania Backlash, it is clear he isn’t done with Cesaro just yet. It is likely the two will feud once again soon and we will have to see how the company will book the ending to the feud.
