On the Winter Is Coming edition of AEW Dynamite back in December last year, AEW and Impact Wrestling started their working relationship together. Since then, there have been quite a few interactions between the two companies. It even resulted in Kenny Omega winning the Impact World Title.

However, not everything about the partnership seems good as many fans feel Impact Wrestling isn’t really benefitting from the partnership and it seems a WWE Hall Of Famer feels the same way.

While speaking on The Hall of Fame Podcast, Booker T stated that he doesn’t believe the working relationship between AEW and Impact Wrestling will last much longer as each promotion will likely just want to focus on their own stars.

“It just muddies the water more than anything. I need you focused on my show, my stars, all the time, nobody else ever. That’s just my opinion.”

We will have to wait and see whether the relationship between the two promotions will actually end up changing the landscape of pro wrestling in a meaningful way or not, before it ends for good.
