AEW is going to make Double Or Nothing the biggest event they possibly can. The May 30th event in Jacksonville’s Daily’s Place will be an entire weekend experience.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that AEW has a lot of things planned for Double Or Nothing weekend to attract fans. They are also going to hold AEW Dark Elevation tapings in front of a live crowd for the first time ever.

“So they’re doing the 28th for a four-hour show, they’re going to start at 8 and run to midnight, because Dynamite is going to be 10 to midnight and they’re going to do the Elevation in front of a live crowd which I don’t think they’ve done at all. So, that’s the 28th. The 29th they’re going to do a fan fest, so for travelers they’re gonna get a real weekend out of the thing. That’s the plan. It’s Memorial Day weekend, so that helps too.”

The big question is whether AEW can fill up Daily’s Place for the venue. It’s hard to sell tickets right now. As we previously reported, AEW is having a very hard time selling tickets for next week’s episode of Dynamite despite three title matches booked for the show.
