WWE plans to get back on the road as soon as they possibly can. Some Superstars have been told to start preparing for that day to come, but nothing has been officially announced by the company so far. That won’t stop them from getting ready to start their life of travel once again.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE Superstars have been told that they will start touring again eventually. They will start picking up shows on the weekends, but it wasn’t noted how often they will be doing this.

“The last time I asked, which wasn’t so long ago, I was told guys have been told that they will never go quite to the schedule before, but what it was, we’re going to go back to that schedule. The road every weekend and a couple of shows every weekend and maybe it won’t be, you know, quite as many, but that is the idea.”

The idea of house shows was outdated prior to the pandemic. It was a money losing effort that only saw WWE get their shows into smaller markets. The problem was that those smaller markets stopped responding to WWE over the years and a majority of those smaller venues remained empty, sometimes struggling to sell 1,000 tickets for a house show.
