Young Rock is coming back for season 2. That was confirmed by NBC, but not much else is known about what fans will see next. The season one cliffhanger gave fans enough of an idea, but The Rock’s own story is also a good roadmap.

April 30th was the big day when Young Rock fans rejoiced at the news of the show getting another season on NBC. No premiere date for season two has been announced, but it’s expected to air sometime in 2022.

It was hinted that Johnson wins the POTUS race in 2032. It will be incredibly interesting if he doesn’t wait that long to run in real life. Young Rock season 2 will expand on Johnson’s life story as he enters the Canadian football league. In high school, Young Rock is exploring his romance with Karen.

We know that Ana Tuisila will return as Lia Maivia and next season is going to deal with her FBI case for extortion. Dwayne Johnson mentioned that in the finale for season 1.

The Rock’s story has been a great one so far, and it’s still being written. That is what makes Young Rock so interesting for viewers.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
