Asher Hale Reacts To Being Called A Rip-Off After WWE NXT Debut

Asher Hale made his WWE NXT debut this week, and it came just hours after news broke that WWE registered a trademark for his new ring name. Now Asher Hale is learning how to deal with the WWE Universe as well, the good and the bad.

Asher Hale made his debut this week against Cameron Grimes. He did not win that debut match, but he also put forth a good effort against Grimes. He commented on this big debut by saying: “New beginnings! Asher Hale has arrived.”

One fan apparently wasn’t too impressed by Asher Hale. This fan wrote to Hale saying that “you look like a rip off Shane Thorne.”

That kind of comment can be taken several different ways. Some might not mind the comparison to the WWE Superstar who became Slapjack. Asher Hale is apparently in that camp of people as he replied back with: “Sweet.”

We’ll have to see what’s next for Asher Hale, but it seems like he certainly has the right attitude about things so far.
