Jake Hager On If He’s Still Training For Bellator Fight

Jake Hager has an undefeated record in MMA and AEW loves to let fans know about that. All Elite Wrestling has allowed Hager to take on fights while under contract and Bellator understands that his celebrity from pro wrestling is good for them as well.

While speaking to Wrestle Buddies, Jake Hager brought up his training. He hasn’t stopped and he’s always preparing for his next fight in the cage. He doesn’t know when his next fight is, but he’s obviously not done with MMA.

“It is one of those things where one hand helps the other out. Right now, Bellator has been really great, and they understand what a big storyline I’m involved with in AEW, and they have always been great working with me to have my wrestling career prosper.”

“They also know that if I’m a bigger star then they’re a bigger star. I’m very interested in getting back in there [with Bellator]. Of course, I have never stopped training and I think they are going to be having another Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix. Maybe I can toss my name in the hat for that too. Since I never stopped training, I’m perfect for Blood & Guts right now. Have any of those guys been locked in a cage with another professional? Nah,”

He’s more than ready for Blood & Guts. We’ll have to see what Jake Hager is able to do next, but this Wednesday might put him to the test as he finds himself in a much different type of cage with nine other people.
