Candice LeRae ended the match by driving Shotzi’s head right into a chair on the mat. That ended a high-energy match that included many high spots. Those spots included Shotzi Blackheart taking a tremendous leap off the Capital Wrestling Center set to smash Hartwell through a table.

The two teams battled past the 10 o’clock hour and into an overrun. They received plenty of time to stretch this match out, and they used every moment they could.

In the end, the NXT Women’s Tag Team Title changed hands once again. The Way won the titles, and they did so without the help of Johnny Gargano, Austin Theory, and even Dexter Lumis.
