AEW is planning a huge episode of Dynamite this week. Blood & Guts is finally going down and fans will soon see what the company has planned for their version of War Games.

While speaking to Wrestling Observer Radio, Chris Jericho gave some insight on what fans can expect. The best idea is to enter the event without any preconceived notions because Blood & Guts is going to be its own new thing.

“There are some differences to it. So, Blood & Guts really is its own version. It’s not WWE’s version of WarGames. It’s not Dusty’s version of WarGames. It’s AEW’s version of a WarGames. That’s why it’s called Blood & Guts, it’s got a different name to it.”

AEW has announced a few more matches for the Blood & Guts special other than the main attraction. Cody Rhodes vs QT Marshall will happen. Britt Baker will be in action, and Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston will take on Kenny Omega & Michael Nakazawa. AEW has just added another segment to the show because Miro will get a chance to speak.

Kip Sabian is out of action with an injury. He will likely need surgery. Now that leaves Miro to find a new spot in AEW. We’ll have to see what they have planned. You can check out the updated lineup below.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
