AEW and Impact Wrestling’s partnership saw Kenny Omega hold the TNA and Impact Wrestling Titles. The deal has seen Impact Wrestling benefit far more than AEW. The only real thing AEW got out of the deal was weekly use of the Good Brothers.

While talking to Comic Book, Chris Jericho discussed AEW and Impact Wrestling’s partnership. He made it clear that AEW is on another level from Impact and Le Champion will never venture to Impact Wrestling for any angle.

“Our roster is jam-packed as it is and our involvement with Impact is pretty much what it should be. I’m not saying this in an egotistical way, but AEW is on a completely different level than Impact is so anything we’re doing with them kinda benefits them a lot more than it does us, in my opinion.”

“I think the fact that they’ve had Kenny Omega and they’ve had Private Party there, that’s a bonus for them. Chris Jericho will never go to Nashville and work in an empty studio for somebody. There’s just no reason for me to do that.”

Chris Jericho then went on to question who Impact Wrestling would even bring over to AEW in an invasion angle. He reiterated his point that Impact Wrestling needs AEW as part of their deal and not the other way around.

Impact Wrestling offered Jericho big money at one point to come in, but those days are obviously over.
