AEW Dynamite has a great home on TNT, but that also means the NBA will move them off that normal time slot a couple of times a year. The NBA Playoffs are coming up yet again and we’re looking at some programming changes for AEW.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the May 26th episode is being moved to Friday, May 28th at 10:00 PM. That means they will air as soon as WWE Friday Night SmackDown is over. The plan is to run a live crowd during that show and tape Dark from 8:00 to 10:00 while Dynamite will run until midnight.

They will also be pre-empted during June where more adjustments will need to be made.

They will also be pre-empted on 6/2 and instead go live on either Friday, 6/4 or Saturday 6/5 (most likely 6/4 but this depends on the NBA playoff game TNT gets), They’d be taping on 6/5 if they go live 6/4, doing the 6/9 show and for Dark and Dark Elevation on 6/14 and 6/15

It seems that AEW will have to figure out a way to coexist with the NBA on TNT once again this year. It might call for some programming changes, but AEW fans are generally good about finding the product.
