Ring Of Honor has benefited from a number of partnerships over the years. Now one longtime union has come to an end. CMLL announced today that they are no longer working with ROH.

The Mexican pro wrestling company announced via Twitter that their partnership with ROH is no more. This comes after four years of making deals for talent exchanges and other co-branded events.

The World Wrestling Council reports that as of today, the strategic alliance that it had with the American company Ring of Honor since 2016 comes to an end.

We’ll have to see if this might open up the possibility of CMLL partnering up with another company. They could also decide to focus on themselves and forget about a partnership right now. CMLL is obviously doing what they feel is best for their own company.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
