Vince McMahon Says WWE Has Best Management Team In Company History

WWE made some big changes to their corporate landscape in recent memory. Their talent and brand building departments were pretty much gutted, and everyone is dealing with a new change as Nick Khan brings in more of his people. Vince McMahon apparently loves what is being done.

We previously reported that WWE has goal to brand themselves like Marvel or DC Comics. They want to be an entertainment property in line with the top players.

During WWE’s conference call after their first quarter 2021 earnings report, Vince McMahon crowed that WWE has the best management team in company history now.

“The only way that you can do that is to have the best management team in WWE history, and we have that team,” McMahon said. “A team that’s innovative, a team that grabs revenue and has reorganized our company in a far more efficient way.”

“Take advantage of new revenue streams, new online platforms, new consumer products, new content creation and new opportunities to expand our media rights portfolio on a global basis. I’m always excited about our business, I don’t think I’ve ever been as excited as I am now.”

WWE is making profits and expanding their brand. We’ll have to see what kind of efforts will be implemented as the COVID-19 pandemic seemingly slows and it opens up the possibility to move out of the ThunderDome once again.
