AEW stars are allowed to take bookings on the indie wrestling circuit, but it can’t conflict with their tapings. They have a strict taping schedule and that called for two stars to reschedule appearances for Warrior Wrestling.

Brian Cage and Brian Pillman Jr. were both scheduled to be at the Warrior Wrestling Stadium Series’ first night. That June 5th appearance will not be happening for them.

Both Cage and Pillman will now appear at the July 17th event for Warrior Wrestling instead. They will still get to make their return to the company, but it will have to wait longer. It was also announced that Laredo Kid will replace Cage in June.

AEW is generally pretty cool about their talent doing indie shows. They also have to make sure those stars are available when they need to use them.
