Christian decide to take a chance with AEW when WWE wouldn’t book him after a much-talked about Royal Rumble return. AEW is going to be Cage’s home for a while, but don’t count on an Impact Wrestling return for him.

Bleacher Report recently spoke to Christian Cage about his pro wrestling career. Despite AEW and Impact Wrestling’s relationship, Cage seems focused on proving his spot in AEW instead.

“I don’t have any plans on [returning to Impact] right now. I am solely focused on AEW, but who knows what can happen in the future. I am relatively new here. I don’t think my focus should get too far away from AEW at this point. I am committed to being part of this brand and helping it move forward.”

AEW is providing Cage with a chance to prove that he still has plenty of gas in the tank. We’ll have to see what the future holds for him, but he seems focused on claiming a top spot in All Elite Wrestling while proving that he can outwork everyone along the way.
