The Undertaker took out John Cena as a surprise at WrestleMania 34. The New Orleans crowd had no idea Taker would be there. As soon as he did appear, they broke out plenty of Undertaker merchandise to celebrate the occasion.

While speaking to the Victory Over Injury podcast, The Undertaker admitted that he wishes that his match against Cena at Mania was longer. He trained hard to get back in the ring and the match was booked to be over in just a few moves.

“I was working with Cena, over in like four or five minutes,” Undertaker explained. “I was like, ‘You gotta be kidding me?!’ Because I trained harder than I had ever…I train hard as it is, to get ready for Mania. But I had an extra, I had to be redeeming myself. If I’m gonna do this I’m gonna redeem myself to the point where that (WrestleMania 33) was just a flash and a bad memory. And then we go out in four minutes. Vince thought it was hilarious!”

The match was simple, but that’s all it needed to be. It also capped off a great storyline about how John Cena showed up to Mania as a fan just to get beat by Taker in no time.
