Damian Priest had his first WrestleMania moment this year as he teamed with Bad Bunny to take on The Miz and John Morrison. It was a very successful outing for the babyface team, but Priest didn’t know what to expect.

While speaking to Rick Ucchino, Damian Priest opened up about his debut on the grandest stage of them all. He thought that the live crowd would give him zero reaction. He was very wrong with that assumption.

“I thought I was going to get no reaction… I thought I was gonna walk on the stage and not that they were going to boo, I just thought… you know, bathroom break or they just wouldn’t care. Just like, because I figured I hadn’t earned it yet. I just haven’t been here that long, as far as, being on Monday Night RAW. And I think people are still trying to get to know who I am. When I walked on the stage and I heard the roar, I was like, ‘Oh, they know who I am!’ (laughs) I was like, ‘They know me, this is so cool,'” Damian Priest said.

Damian Priest has performed in front of plenty of live crowds, but WrestleMania was a totally unique experience. It was also the first time that he had a chance to perform on the main roster in front of live fans as his call-up took place during the ThunderDome era.
