Why Roman Reigns Has Shown Zero Interest In AEW

Roman Reigns has been given a ton of opportunities by WWE and he hasn’t shown any interest in AEW. There is a big reason for that and you can find it in his paychecks.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed AEW’s appeal and why they haven’t received any interest from someone like the Tribal Chief. The fact is that WWE is paying Roman Reigns far too much for him to look AEW’s way.

“Roman Reigns has never showed any interest in AEW because he’s happy with what he’s making. A lot of those top guys are making a lot, a lot of money in WWE.”

Roman Reigns also wants to use WWE as springboard to Hollywood. That is a path he has seen work for The Rock, Batista, and John Cena before him. He would obviously like to replicate that success.

AEW might end up signing a few more former WWE Superstars by the time everything is said and done. Don’t expect them to pry Roman Reigns away from WWE.
