WWE released nine Superstars so far today. Some of those cuts were more shocking than others. Odds are at least a few of them will end up with another company when they are free to do so. How long do they have to wait?

WWE released all talent today with 90-day non-compete clauses. That timer starts today and they will be paid their downside guarantees until that ends. On July 14th they will be free to talk to any pro wrestling company they like.

We have not heard of the company releasing anyone without a 90-day non-compete clause. Andrade’s release was an exception to that rule, but he still hasn’t appeared anywhere else yet.

We’ll have to see what’s next for those released WWE Superstars, but we likely won’t know anything official until at least July 14th.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
