WWE held WrestleMania with live fans, and they carried on with another tradition. The company got to inflate the attendance number once again.

Each night of WrestleMania was proclaimed as sellout crowd. That was not the case at all.

During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed the actual rough attendance numbers for each night of WrestleMania. Night two actually had about 5,000 fans more than night one, but neither part of the event was actually sold out.

“I heard night two was bigger than night one, by the way. Night one was 11,000ish and night two was maybe 15,000.”

WWE did announce sellout crowd of over 25,000 for each night of the event. It just goes to show that even a pandemic won’t stop WWE from claiming to have more people in a building than they really do.
