Randy Orton Says Bad Bunny Is ‘Officially A WWE Superstar’

Randy Orton and Soulja Boy have been beefing for over a month. Soulja Boy recently called Orton out, and said he’ll give him an atomic wedgie, because he’s “street.” Orton didn’t really have time to comment on Soulja Boy during The Bump, but he took a moment to praise Bad Bunny.

The Grammy Award winning rapper stopped everything to train with WWE. He has been in the ring three times a week since January, training for his WrestleMania moment.

Orton gave Bad Bunny huge props for being so respectful to the pro wrestling business. He also made a comment about how it is rare to see someone come in and show that kind of respect to the pro wrestling business.

“We’ve had a lot of people try to step into our world and do what we do, because ‘everyone can do it,’ right? We make it look easy, but it is not. For the first time, but maybe not the first time, but for the first time in this manner I can say that seeing Bad Bunny come into our world, seeing him completely halt his touring schedule, his music, anything he had going on, he stopped it dead in the ring three, four — I’ve seen him, I’ve seen him, there’s practice rings. I’ve seen him in there with trainers trying to get as good as he can get. Two, three, four, five hours a day.”

“That impresses me, and I’ve gotta say thank you to Bad Bunny for having respect for what I do and what everyone else in the locker room does and what WWE does. I appreciate him as a fan, but now I can look over at him and call him a fellow performer in my world.”

Orton went on to say that it’s a “breath of fresh air” to have someone come into WWE and show respect after being so successful in their world. Bad Bunny had a sellout at the monitors backstage and Orton was right there watching along with everyone else.

We’ll have to see if Bad Bunny comes back to WWE eventually. The Viper said he considers Bunny a fellow WWE Superstar now.
