During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Damian Priest was working with a bad back. It was “touch and go” for a while regarding whether he would be able to wrestle at the show of shows. He didn’t get cleared until the last minute.

“Priest has a bad back so that’s perhaps some of it. I guess the reason why they were talking about a singles match was because of Priest’s injury. I thought it was Morrison’s injury, but I guess it’s Priest’s injury. He was just cleared, I was told ‘last minute.’ I don’t know if ‘last minute’ means last week, but I was told it was touch and go. That’s what I was told today is that it was touch and go.”

Bad Bunny and Damian Priest got their WrestleMania moment and fans were excited to see it go down. We’ll have to see what’s next for Damian Priest, but Bad Bunny will probably get back to music now. You can also never rule out a return for Bad Bunny considering how much he loved this stint as a WWE Superstar.
