The Miz Reveals Why He Won’t Do MTV’s The Challenge Again

The Miz first appeared in a lot of fans’ living rooms as part of the Real World: New York. He was much younger and a bit sheltered at the time. Things are much different now, and after spending time on The Challenge, he won’t go back.

While discussing his career with The Fighter and The Kid podcast, The A-Lister revealed that MTV tried to get him to make a return for The Challenge: All-Stars, but he declined it. The fact is that he doesn’t want the drama anymore. He also doesn’t need to prove himself.

“They did ask me to do The Challenge: All-Stars, but I wouldn’t do The Challenge again because I don’t want the drama. I wouldn’t mind hosting or playing a guest host. I always want to pay tribute to where I started. Who gave me my opportunity? MTV and Bunim-Murray and The Real World.”

The Miz is arguably the most successful alum from The Real World. He has his own reality television show and is quite happy doing his own thing. The Challenge can be a very ruthless environment, especially when they start slicing and dicing in the editing room to heighten the drama.
