WWE moved to Peacock and that will come with a change. Apparently, the only foreign language that Peacock wants to keep around are Spanish.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has informed their French announce team that they are now out of a job. They were told that Peacock made the call only to keep Spanish announcers.

Raymond Rougeau and Jean Brassard, who have been the French language announcing team for PPVs, were both informed that they were being let go with the move to Peacock. They were told it was a Peacock decision to cancel all international language commentary except for Spanish.

We’ll have to see how this works out for those fans who rely on French commentators to know what’s going on during WWE events. It’s always sad to see someone lose a job, especially when it is so sudden. At least the Spanish announce table will still be available in case they need it.
