WWE Keeping WrestleMania Match Stipulation Details Secret

WWE’s biggest show of the year is this weekend, but that doesn’t mean everyone knows what to expect at WrestleMania. This even applies to matches that have already been booked.

Big E is slated to defend his IC Title against Apollo Crews in a Nigerian Drum Fight at WrestleMania 37. That is a new match concept and it also leaves many questions.

Ringside News has learned that this match stipulation is still a mystery for those backstage as well. The Nigerian Drum Fight idea brings up many ideas, but none of them have been confirmed.

A tenured member of the creative team has confirmed that nobody on the team has been clued in on what the Nigerian Drum Fight is all about. They have also asked, but no answer has been given yet.

We exclusively reported that the flow of information is stopped up at the top. Bruce Prichard has arranged a circle of protection around Vince McMahon and writers must ask permission before even revealing future plans to the very Superstars involved.

Apollo Crews picked this stipulation, so he could have the upper hand in this new gimmick match. It would help Big E and the rest of us out a lot more if WWE would let us know what kind of match to expect.
