Drew McIntyre Says He’d Smack Will Ospreay If They Ever Competed Again

IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay recently called out Drew McIntyre for a Champion vs Champion match after NJPW’s Sakura Genesis.

While speaking to Steve Muelhausen of DAZN, Drew McIntyre addressed Will Ospreay’s challenge. McIntyre revealed that he spoke to Ospreay shortly after the call out. McIntyre then added that he would smack Ospreay If they ever had the match.

“I spoke to him privately after I saw him calling me out. I will not reply publicly (laughs) but I’ll just say I’m very happy for him. If we had that match, he knows I would take the back of my hand and smack him if it was in real life (laughs).

We will have to see if McIntyre and Ospreay have a match against in the future. Before that, McIntyre has to contend with Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 37.
