It was recently announced that former WWE Superstar and current AEW Star Chris Jericho will be the next guest on ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s Broken Skulls Sessions. This announcement certainly took the pro wrestling world by storm as fans wondered what this could mean for WWE and AEW.

While many think this move might just be the start of a future partnership between the two promotions, a WWE Hall Of Famer doesn’t think it’s a big deal.

While speaking on The Hall of Fame Podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T talked about Chris Jericho’s appearance on the podcast. Booker T doubts that this appearance will lead to a partnership between AEW and WWE and is likely to be a one-off.

“I don’t think this is a moment like people think it is,” Booker said. “As far as all of a sudden we’re going to have more cross promotion between AEW and WWE, I don’t think that’s what that is at all. Stone Cold Steve Austin, just by the way he roles and has a controversial guest like Y2J is just good for business.

While it is unlikely WWE and AEW will be in a working partnership anytime soon, anything is possible in the world of pro wrestling and it could happen in the future. We will have to see how Chris Jericho’s appearance on the podcast turns out.
