Charly Caruso is no longer with WWE. She is now a full-time employee of ESPN, a move that she considers a huge career advancement. WWE apparently tried to keep her around.

There were reports of Charly Caruso’s backstage heat prior to her exit. She opened up in an interview and said that she believes that she left WWE on good terms.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE offered Caruso a new contract, but she turned it down. This was just before they pulled her from television.

She had turned down a WWE contract before the decision was made to remove her from the air and those in the company expected she was leaving for ESPN once she got the weekly “First Take Her Take” podcast.
