Andrade Publicly Addresses WWE Release Request

Andrade hasn’t been used on WWE television since October last year. He asked for his release from the company recently, but the company denied that request for now.

El Idolo, who did lock down that nickname with trademark, posted on Twitter to address the reports that he requested his release. He confirmed that they are true, and he doesn’t know what the future holds. He also thanked fans for their support.

If WWE releases Andrade, then he will be just fine. He can go back to Mexico and become a headliner once again as La Sombra, another name he trademarked. AEW might be interested in him as well, but Vince McMahon still sees no use in him.
