Damian Priest Compares Himself With The Rock

Ever since his star-making performance at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view back in January, Damian Priest has been booked consistently well. He is a mainstay of Monday Night RAW and has victories over the likes of Elias and The Miz.

Priest worked very hard to make it to WWE and it seems he has similar background to a WWE legend as well. While being interviewed by The Irish Sun, Damian Priest talked about similarity he has with The Rock.

Priest noted that in his Mount Rushmore of pro wrestling, The Rock is definitely there. Priest then added that he and The Rock both came from a similar background.

“And The Rock – just the way he is, not just the wrestling. I came from a similar background. I came from nothing.”

Damian Priest is currently teaming up with rapper Bad Bunny and it is likely the two will face off against The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37. We will have to see how the feud will continue to be booked.
