It’s Friday night and once again which means a brand new episode of WWE SmackDown and Ringside News has you covered with live play-by-play results coverage.

Start time for WWE SmackDown is at 8:00 PM EST. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below.

With only two days remaining until Elimination Chamber 2021, WWE have announced three segments for tonight’s go-home edition of SmackDown! Let’s run down the card.

First up, the winner of the 2021 Men’s Royal Rumble Match Edge is set to kick-off tonight’s show. He and the Universal Champion Roman Reigns have shared a heated exchange or two ever since Edge won the Royal Rumble, While Edge has said that he will not make his decision for who to face at WrestleMania until after Elimination Chamber, his presence on the blue brand certainly won’t sit well with the Tribal Chief tonight.

Also, Bayley will be hosting another edition of her show “Ding Dong, Hello!” tonight, and her guests this week are the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Will they address their upcoming challengers from NXT, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez? Or are they coming to “Ding Dong, Hello!” with an entirely different agenda? Find out tonight.

For in-ring action, only one match has been announced, and it is a 6-Man Tag Team match. All six men in the SmackDown elimination chamber will take part in this match, with Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, and Cesaro facing off against Jey Uso, King Corbin, and Sami Zayn. One group of three will get some momentum heading into the elimination chamber, but who will it be?

All of this and more will be covered tonight with our live coverage of WWE SmackDown, which begins when SmackDown goes live at 8:00 PM EST! Remember to refresh the page throughout the night for the most up-to-date results, and let us know what you think of the show in the comments below.

Opening Segment

The show kicks off with Edge making his entrance into the ThunderDome. He gets on the mic and talks about how he is happy to be back on SmackDown. He starts talking about the matches at Elimination Chamber and how his decision for his WrestleMania opponent is the biggest decision of his career.

Reigns and company take their time coming down to the ring. Once all three men are standing across from Edge, Heyman hands a mic to Roman. Roman says that he is the only choice for Edge, because Roman says that he will be “the main event.”

Edge responds that he is playing Roman, he isn’t showing fear. He says that Roman needs Edge to be the main event. He says that Roman is the insecure one and Edge is the one who gets to pick the main event.

He says that he respects Roman and respects Roman’s family, but he says that Roman got too much, too soon. He says that Roman is cracking under the pressure, and that is before Edge has even applied any pressure to Roman yet.

Suddenly, Sami Zayn comes out. He starts to talk about how Edge and Roman are disrespecting him, but Roman and Edge are both mostly ignoring him, even when he gets in the ring.

Sami talks about how it is not a forgone conclusion that Roman will win, and then he runs down both Edge and Roman. He calls his camera men to come close to the ring, getting a shot of him pointing to the WrestleMania sign.

As he continues to ramble, Jey Uso surprises Zayn with a superkick, laying out Zayn and shutting him up.

Roman gets right in Edge’s face and gets close to his ear. He whispers something inaudible to Edge, and then he backs off. Jey Uso hands Roman his belt, and all three men leave the ring.
