AEW Revolution, the company’s next pay-per-view, will take place on March 7th. They still have a few weeks to book things for the event, but we now know of one more match to expect.

The company is holding a Women’s World Title Eliminator Tournament. The first four Japanese matches aired yesterday, and you can click here for those results. That tournament will be over sooner than some fans previously thought.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the winner of the Women’s World Title Eliminator Tournament will get an AEW Women’s World Title shot at Revolution. That being said, AEW will need to determine a winner prior to then.

It was assumed that the finals of the tournament will take place during the go-home Dynamite prior to the pay-per-view.

This means that the winner of the Japanese side is likely already preparing for a trip to the United States for the finals of the tournament. We will have to see who pulls down the big win in the finals, but Hikaru Shida needs an opponent on March 7th.
