Jon Moxley and Renee Paquette met each other while working in WWE, and they were married by the time they departed from the company. Their relationship came as a bit of a surprise for some, especially for Moxley who didn’t really plan on settling down.

Renee invited Moxley on Oral Sessions recently where the subject of relationships took center stage. Moxley admitted that he was never opposed to monogamy, but he also didn’t believe he would meet the right girl for him.

“I was not opposed to the idea of monogamy or settling down or getting married or anything like that, but I figured, like what are the odds? Yeah, like, if the perfect girl came along, sure, but that’s not gonna happen. So, I figured that I was gonna be a solo act and just enjoy time with many great women. You know?”

Renee let out a laugh interjected and said: “That’s f*cked up,” since her husband was saying this on her own show.

“I’ve known and had the time and privilege of spending time with many intelligent, smart, and amazing women,” Moxley continued. Then Rene Paquette said: “Slow down, relax, couldn’t have been that great.”

Moxley then continued to explain how things just seemed to fit perfectly with Renee Paquette.

“Ultimately it was a square peg in a round hole, whereas your hole is the same shape as… it goes right in. See, the thing is you have to not try to change a person and the person has to try not to change you.”

Renee Paquette said that was the perfect way to wrap up the subject on her show. Moxley and Paquette are expecting their first child, who will be here in just a few months. They are about to enter an exciting part of their life together even though Moxley never thought he would find the perfect girl for him.
