Carmella travels quite often and she just had a unique experience with Southwest Airlines. They were happy to answer back and help The Princess of Staten Island with her concerns.

Southwest Airlines has a policy with carry-on items, and they consider neck pillows in that category. When Carmella had a neck pillow on her lap, that was not the appropriate place for it, and her flight attendant kindly informed her of the proper place it should go.

The WWE Superstar jumped on Twitter and she let fans know about this inconvenience while flying home from SmackDown.

My new favorite thing that happened on my @SouthwestAir flight this morning was when the flight attendant said I had to put my neck pillow around my neck or under the seat. It absolutely “could not sit on my lap.”

Southwest Airlines cares about the safety of their passengers and their social media team was happy to remind Carmella about that fact.

Safety will always be our number one, Leah. We’re sorry for any disappointment this morning, or if you felt our Crew Member’s efforts to ensure all carryon items were stored were silly. Nevertheless, we appreciate your cooperation & hope you enjoy your weekend. -Emilia

You never know what can happen during a flight, and Southwest Airlines has been in operation long enough to know that. This is why certain procedures are in place, no matter how much Carmella wants to tweet about it.
