Johnny Gargano Pulled From WWE NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day

NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day is taking place on February 14th, but they will apparently have to pull a big match from the show. Johnny Gargano will allegedly not be at TakeOver according to Austin Theory.

Gargano was set to defend the WWE NXT North American Title against KUSHIDA this Sunday. That match is apparently not happening now, but Theory will take on KUSHIDA this Wednesday instead.

Austin Theory dropped a video where he said that Johnny TakeOver will miss TakeOver. Theory said he just left Johnny Gargano’s house, and he blames KUSHIDA for the leader of The Way’s TakeOver absence.

No Johnny Takeover this Sunday, but tomorrow night @KUSHIDA_0904 , you’re gonna pay because that’s THE WAY!!!”

WWE NXT has not officially announced that Johnny Gargano will miss TakeOver yet. This could have been their way to break the disappointing news.

Hopefully, whatever is keeping Johnny Gargano from NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day won’t keep the NXT North American Champion out of action for long.
