Bianca Belair Says Match Against Asuka Made Her Feel She Was Cut Out To Be A Pro Wrestler

Bianca Belair signed with WWE back in 2016 as part of NXT, where she honed her craft and learned the WWE way of wrestling. During her time in NXT, she squared off against numerous talented Superstars and that includes Asuka.

While speaking to Ryan Satin of FOX Sports, Bianca Belair talked about her only match against RAW Women’s Champion Asuka. The match in question took place during a live event.

The two are yet to square off in a match on WWE television but that might be changing if Belair decides to challenge Asuka for her title at WrestleMania 37.

Belair said that her match with Asuka made her realize she was cut out for a career in professional wrestling and that she could hang with the best of them.

“I feel like I was able to hang with her that night and I remember my husband was the first person behind the curtain that night at a live event in front of, maybe, 150 people and I was so excited and crying and like, “Okay, I think I’m good at this. I was hanging with Asuka.”

We will have to see which champion The EST of WWE will challenge at WrestleMania 37.
